WHO WE ARE.
OUR SUPERVISOR, MARK ELDRIDE, HAS DEMONSTRATED A STRONG APTITUDE TOWARDS CONSTRUCTION BEGINNING AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. WORKING ALONGSIDE HIS GRANDFATHER, HE ACQUIRED THE SKILL OF MODEL SHIP BUILDING ONLY TO GRADUATE TO PIANOS, SHEDS, AND EVEN GARAGES BY THE AGE OF ELEVEN.
UPON GRADUATING FROM DUXBURY HIGH SCHOOL IN 1984, MARK HAD TAKEN THE ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY TEST. HE HAD SCORED A 98.9%, GRANTING HIM ACCESS TO ANY AREA HE WISHED TO PURSUE IN THE ARMED FORCES. IN SELECTING THE AIR FORCE, HE DISCOVERED A PASSION FOR REPAIR WORK WITH THE INTENT TO ACHIEVE A PERFECT BALANCE OF FUNCTIONALITY AND VISUAL AESTHETIC. FROM 1984-1990, HE REPAIRED AND REMODELED JET AIRCRAFTS IN THE UNITED STATES, ENGLAND, GERMANY, JAPAN, SAUDI ARABIA, AFGHANISTAN, ITALY AND GREECE.
AS A VETERAN WITH A PASSION AND DETERMINATION TO EXPAND HIS SKILL SET, MARK BEGAN ACCEPTING SMALL REPAIR JOBS WITHIN THE SOUTH SHORE- THUS BEGINNING THE JOURNEY OF OPERATING HIS OWN BUSINESS ENTITY IN 1991.
AS MARK BEGAN BUILDING CUSTOM CARE INC. FROM THE GROUND UP, HE ALSO WORKED AS A SERVICE MANAGER AT CUMMINS NORTHEAST. HOWEVER, HE DECIDED TO PURSUE HIS DREAM IN 2001 WHEN MIGRATING TO CUSTOM CARE INC. FULL TIME.
SINCE THEN, WE HAVE BEEN PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES TO THE GREATER SOUTH SHORE AREA OF MASSACHUSETTS. AS A LOCAL, MARK HAS FORMED LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS, BUILDING NEW HOMES, RENOVATING, EXPANDING & UPDATING EXISTING RESIDENCIES, AND RESTORING THE HISTORICAL STRUCTURES THAT ARE SO UNIQUE TO THE AREA.
MARK'S SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOM WOODWORKING, AS WELL AS HIS KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE AREA'S HISTORIC ELEMENTS, HAS ALLOWED CUSTOM CARE INC. TO PRESERVE THE UNTOUCHED BEAUTY OF MANY NEW ENGLAND HOMES.
TODAY, WE STAND AS A COMPANY OF 6+ EMPLOYEES WHO SHARE THE SAME PASSION FOR CREATING A PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF OUR CLIENTS’ IDEAS.
